College Park Police say they have put a big dent in a car theft operation in south Atlanta.
Police say they have made three arrests in the case, as they continue to look for three other suspects.
Detective Dustin Matthews tells Channel 2 Action News they have seen a big drop in car thefts since the arrests.
"We've cleared up 16 cases of ours, of stolen vehicles," says Matthews. "We're looking to clear up to 25."
Matthews says the suspects have confessed to twelve car thefts in Hapeville, East Point and Union City, among other spots.
