Cain accuser says she feels 'slightly vindicated'

CHICAGO (AP) - An Illinois woman who claimed Republican Herman Cain groped her says she feels "slightly vindicated" that he has suspended his presidential campaign.

Sharon Bialek (BY'-uh-lihk) held a news conference on Monday in Chicago with her attorney Gloria Allred. Bialek says she'd do it all again, although it was difficult to see herself portrayed as a troubled woman.

Both women say they have no plans to write a book about the experience. Bialek says if she wanted to profit, she could have sold her story to a tabloid, but she refused to do so.

Cain suspended his campaign Saturday, five days after an Atlanta-area woman, Ginger White, claimed she and Cain had an affair for more than a decade.

Cain has denied behaving inappropriately with anyone. He also denied knowing Bialek.
