Major Interstate Incidents:

  • Fulton Co.: Crash...I-85/sb before I-75/nb ramp. Cars in right shoulder.
  • Fulton Co.: Disabled car...I-75/sb at West Paces Ferry Rd.  
  • Fulton Co.;  Crash...GA-400/sb at Holcomb Bridge Rd. (Exit 7).  Right lane affected.
  • Atlanta:  Stall...I-20/wb at the Connector (75/85) ramp.
  • DeKalb Co.: Stalled Truck...I-285/wb (Outer Loop) just west of I-85 (Spaghetti Jct.)

              Major Highway and Surface Street Incidents:

              • Fulton Co.: Fatality crash...Old National Hwy. shut down at Godby Rd. just south of I-285.
              • Gwinnett Co.: Crash...Scenic Hwy./124/sb at Ronald Reagan Pkwy.
              • Gwinnett Co.: Crash...Jimmy Carter Blvd. and Peachtree Industrial Blvd.
              • Fulton Co.: Crash...Jonesboro Rd. and Old National Hwy.
              • Atlanta: Crash...Peachtree Rd. and Rumson Rd.

                  Ongoing Construction and Other Closures:

                  • Atlanta: Bridge Construction...Spring Street closed from Mitchell to Marietta streets and also the section of M.L.K. Jr. Dr. between Forsyth and Spring streets. Closures and detours are being determined and managed by the City of Atlanta. This detour is scheduled to remain in place through next Fall 2015. 
                  • Atlanta: Sewer Work...Delano Drive between Rocky Ford Rd. and Sisson Ave. will be closed until 9/19 from 1:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. Detours are in place.
                  • Newton Co.: I-20/eb/wb between Hwy. 142 (exit 93) and Hwy. 11 (exit 98), blocking a lane during most hours. Expect delays during the day. 
                  • Atlanta: Streetcar Project...Expect closures along Auburn Ave. near Peachtree St. and on surrounding roads.
                  • Fulton Co.: Line Creek Bridge Replacement...Bohannon Rd. is blocked between Mann Rd. and Creekwood Rd. until July 2015.
                  • Atlanta: Road Closed Indefinitely...Martin Luther King Jr. Dr. between Northside Dr. and Centennial Olympic Park Dr. to begin new stadium construction. Mitchell and Tatnall Streets are alternates.
                  • Cherokee Co.: Construction...Portions of Hickory Road, Holly Street, and Palm Street will be repaired and resurfaced. Expect delays. In addition, repairs and resurfacing also on sections of Marble Quarry Road.

                  Movie Filming:

                  • Atlanta: Lane Blocked...Austin Ave. between Sinclaire Ave. & Moreland Ave. until 9/23 from 6:00 a.m. to midnight.
