• Atlanta: Tire Debris...I-85/nb past Ga.-400.
• Atlanta: Crash...I-75/85/nb at 10th St. Off to the right, but expect extra delays.
• Cobb Co.: Crash...I-75/sb at Windy Hill Rd.  Right lane blocked.
• Fulton Co.: Crash...I-285/eb (Inner Loop) near Riverside Dr.
• Other interstates are heavy in the normal spots.

• Atlanta: Structure Fire...Moreland Ave. shut down in Little Five Points. Expect major delays through the area.
• Atlanta: Crash...DeKalb Ave. near Brooks Ave.
• Atlanta: Stalled MARTA Bus...Ponce de Leon Ave./eb past East Lake Blvd. Expect delays.
• Cobb Co.: Injury Crash...Cobb Pkwy. at Cumberland Blvd.
• Forsyth Co.: Injury Crash...Dahlonega Hwy. at Martin Rd.
• Gwinnett Co.: Injury Crash...Beaver Ruin Rd. at Newberry Rd.
• Gwinnett Co.: Crash...Buford Hwy. at Nelson Brogdon Blvd.
• Gwinnett Co.: Crash...Hwy.-78 at Rosebud Rd.
• Gwinnett Co.: Crash...East Park Place Blvd. at Park Place Cir.
• Gwinnett Co.: Crash...Satellite Blvd. at Old Norcross Rd.
• Gwinnett Co.: Volume...Pleasant Hill Rd. very heavy between Peachtree Industrial Blvd. and I-85.
• Gwinnett Co.: Volume...Sugarloaf Pkwy. very slow near I-85 because of several graduation ceremonies at the Gwinnett Arena.
• DeKalb Co.: Injury Crash...North Druid Hills Rd. near Lavista Rd.
• DeKalb Co.: Train Crash Cleanup...Commerce Dr., N. McDonough Dr., and E. Trinity Ave. railroad crossings are blocked in Decatur.
• Fulton Co.: Volume...Hwy.-9 between Maxwell Rd. and Hembree Rd. Buses heading back to the Bus Depot will cause heavy delays, mainly between 3:00 pm and 6:00 pm.
• Fulton Co.: Traffic Light Out...Fulton Industrial Blvd. at I-20. Affecting traffic on the ramp from I-20/eb, as well.
• Fulton Co.: Construction...North Point Pkwy. at Old Milton Pkwy. One lane closed in each direction of North Point Pkwy. until 4:00pm.

Weekend Traffic Report: 

• GA-DOT has suspended major weekend lane closures around town, to help heavy traffic move better during the Memorial Day weekend.
• Traffic will be extra-slow on I-75/nb/sb between Stockbridge and Macon on the south side all weekend. All interstates will be heavier than normal during Friday PM drive, so listen to News/Talk WSB for live traffic updates Friday and through the weekend.
• Atlanta: Atlanta Jazz Fest takes place all weekend in Piedmont Park. Expect extra traffic and limited parking in the area.
•  DeKalb Co.: Memorial Day Weekend Salute to the Troops…Stone Mountain’s laser show and other summer activities kick off this weekend. Volume will be heavier on Hwy. 78 near the Stone Mountain Park exits.
• Cobb Co.: Herman Cain Live in Marietta Square…Join Herman Cain, Captain Herb Emory, and News/Talk WSB in the Marietta Square for a live broadcast 6-8 p.m. Friday to start the Memorial Day weekend. Expect extra traffic and road closures in the area.
• Memorial Day activities will cause street closures in different cities around Metro Atlanta. Roswell and Smyrna are among the cities with events planned Monday.

Ongoing Construction and Other Closures:

• If you see construction or other closures in your area, let us know at #750 for free on Verizon Wireless or 404-897-7358 to the Alarm Force WSB 24-Hour Traffic Center. The lines are open 24/7/365.
• Hall Co.: Road Closures/Flooding Damage...Cove Creek Dr. off of Lights Ferry Rd., Stephens Rd. off of Jim Crow Rd. Both roads are restricted to residents only - through traffic is not allowed. 
• Forsyth Co.: Road Closures/Flooding Damage...Sanders Rd. between Hwy. 20 at Buford Dam Rd. and Parks Rd. between Burruss Mill Rd. and Hwy. 306. 
• Fulton Co.: Construction...Old Milton Pkwy. and North Point Pkwy. from 8:00 p.m.- 5:00 a.m. Monday - Friday nights until December.
• DeKalb Co.: Construction Zone/Ramp Reconfiguration...I-20/eb between I-285 and Panola Rd. The right lane is often blocked during overnights, middays, and weekends. The I-285 ramps to I-20/eb also merge much later - just before the Wesley Chapel Rd. exit - creating extra delays on I-285 during PM rush hours. Plan extra time for travel at any time in the area.
• Gwinnett Co.: Lane Shift...Hwy. 316 at Hwy. 20 the travel lanes have been shifted to the outside lanes that will be used as exit lanes once construction is completed.  The speed limit has been decreased in the area. Expect delays off and on in the area.
• Atlanta: Bridge Work...Deering Rd. is blocked at the AMTRAK Station at Peachtree St.  Take Collier Rd. or 17th St. as alternates, but expect delays on them at peak drive times. Traffic on Peachtree St. cannot turn onto Deering Rd.  Do not use neighborhood side streets off of Deering Rd. as alternates, as they cannot handle heavy rush hour volume and are jamming up at peak drive times. 
• Hall County: Construction...Thompson Mill Rd. at Duncan's Corner, in the right lane, from 7:00 a.m. to 5:30 p.m. until May 10th.
• Atlanta: The I-85/sb  HOV ramp to Lindbergh Dr. and the Lindbergh Dr. HOV ramp to I-85/nb will be blocked until Sunday, July 14th. Take Cheshire Bridge Rd. to get to the Lindbergh MARTA Station. 
• Henry Co.: Construction Zone...I-75/nb north of Hudson Bridge Rd. The loss of the right shoulder and the merging lane are jamming I-75/nb from McDonough each morning drive. Plan extra time and be careful in the area.
