Argument leads to deadly shooting at Underground Atl.

Atlanta Police say an argument between buddies ended in a deadly shooting near Underground Atlanta.

Atlanta police Lt. Paul Guerrucci tells WSB it happened around 7:15 p.m. Tuesday in an area known as Kenny's Alley.

"It appears that the incident may have stemmed from an argument which escalated into the shooting," said Guerrucci. “At this time we're actively working the crime scene, canvassing the area for witnesses.”

The victim, a 23-year-old male, was shot at least once in the chest. He was taken to the hospital but later died.

The victim’s name was not released.

Police don't have any suspects.
