Sandy Springs Police are searching for the hit and run driver who struck and killed pedestrian on Roswell Road.
The victim, 67-year-old Lanzhen Pan, died overnight at North Fulton Hospital severe head injuries.
Police say the woman was hit around 8 p.m. Tuesday on Roswell Road near Hightower Trail.
“She was near ‘Three Dollar Café,’” Sandy Springs Police Cpt. Steve Rose told News/Talk WSB. “I’m not sure if she was trying to cross the street or adjacent to the curbing.”
Sandy Springs police say the suspect stopped briefly after hitting the woman, then took a left turn and took off down Hightower Trail.
The vehicle is believed to be a dark colored SUV. Police also think there was a white female passenger in the front seat.
