Authorities are hoping surveillance video and a lot of cash will lead to recovery of dozens of stolen firearms from a pawn shop in Forsyth County.
On December 2nd, 27 firearms were stolen from Forsyth County Pawn on 211 Atlanta Road.
Regina Milledge, Spokeswoman for the Bureau of Alcohol, Tobacco, and Firearms, tells WSB they're offering a $5,000 reward, which will be matched by the NSSF for a total reward of $10,000.
"Obviously, there are concerns anytime there are firearms that have been stolen that are out on the street, there's the possibility that those firearms can end up in the hands of someone that is prohibited. We're talking the possibility of the firearms ending up in the hands of criminals," said Milledge.
Anyone with information about this crime is asked to contact the ATF Gun Hotline at 1-800-ATF-GUNS or the Cumming Police Department at 770-781--2000. Callers can remain anonymous.
