Some families in Sandy Springs may get the boot

Families living in a single building, nine unit complex in Sandy Springs may find out if they will have to move.

City leaders are expected to vote Tuesday night to sell the property and raze the 60 year old building. The Fulton Co. Housing Authority told WSB, upkeep is too high.

The county will give tenants a housing voucher when it comes time to move, which may be late fall or winter.

Resident Robert Harris told Channel  2 Action News, "the location's private, parking's good, shopping's good."
