Henry County Police are asking for the public's help in locating a vehicle in connection with an early morning murder on Friday.  Sgt. Joey Smith tells WSB the body was discovered in a subdivision on Gold Leaf Drive in Hampton, around 4:30.

"We just basically got the call from a neighbor who walked outside and saw the victim lying in the grassy area near the sidewalk, which is right next to the street.  And he is the one that called 911," said Smith.

Police believe 26-year-old Cameron Hall of Stockbridge, was stabbed multiple times at that location.  So far, none of the neighbors recognize the man.

"We have spoken to neighbors and witnesses that saw a particular vehicle that we believe was his.  They saw it there at a certain time and they saw and found the body in the street," said Smith.

The vehicle, a rental car, is a 2013 black Toyota Corolla LE with Georgia tag:  BTF8250.

"We don't think it was a robbery.  We found his belongings.  We believe the individual left

in the victim's car.  So, it may have been some type of dispute.  We really just don't know right now," said Smith.

Hall had apparently talked to family and friends just hours before and nothing appeared out of the ordinary.

If anyone has information, please call the Henry County Police Department at 770-288-8219.
