Glanville estate hits auction block

One of the great characters in Atlanta sports history is selling off his estate in north Georgia.
Former Falcons head coach Jerry Glanville is selling several items from his days as head coach in the NFL and owner of a NASCAR Truck Series team.
He tells the Dawson News he's getting rid of the stuff because "it would have been too much work to leave for family if I wait until I'm in the box."
Glanville, known for leaving a ticket for Elvis before every game he coached, led the Falcons for four years. He coached them to the team's first playoff win in 13 years, against the Saints, in 1991.
Items up for sale include game balls, watches and game tickets. There will also be plenty of pairs of cowboys boots, another staple of Glanville's wardrobe, including a pair made out of footballs.
The sale will be Thursday, Friday and Saturday at his lakeside home in Dawsonville.
