East Point Police have made an arrest in last week's murder of a 92-year-old man. Major Tony Mabry tells WSB 35-year-old Christopher Roberts knew Julius Dewberry, often doing yard work for him.
"He was someone that would come around and he'd do a little odd jobs: cut the grass, stuff like that," said Mabry.
Neighbors say they knew that Dewberry kept money in the house.
"We're pretty confident that the 92-year-old fighting back was probably part of it, but I can't say at this time that his was his intentions right off to kill him from the start," said Mabry.
Roberts, who has a lengthy criminal history, has been charged with murder, robbery by force, burglary, and theft by taking.
