16 people were injured in Friday's accident when a shuttle ran into a semi truck making a u-turn. Sergent Keith Stanley of the College Park police department confirms that all have been cleared from the hospital excpet one victim with a collapsed lung. With the continuing investigation officials also confirm that the driver of the shuttle does not have her CDL license, which makes her driving the vehicle illegal. This story will continue to develop over the coming weeks.
The fire that claimed 35 units at an apartment complex in Buckhead Sunday night is still under investigation.
Spokeswoman for the Atlanta Fire Department, Janet Ward, said the only resident that went to the hospital has been released and everyone is accounted for.
According to the AJC, the Red Cross met with the families and has 31 set up with lodging and other necessities.
Lake Lanier boating accident
Teen is still waiting to face charges from a hit-and-run boating accident on Lake Lanier Friday evening. The father first heard the story on WSB radio, and took his son to turn himself in Sunday night.
