The South Gwinnett Rotary Club is sponsoring a blood drive for Aimee Copeland, the University of West Georgia graduate student that contracted a flesh-eating virus while ziplining. The blood drive will be held in Snellville Monday, May 21st 10am - 6pm. The Shepeard Community Blood Center in Augusta which supplies the hospital where Aimee is a patient will be collecting the blood. Aimee will receive credit for all donations.
Also, if you would like to make a donation towards Aimee's hospital and rehabilitation stays, checks can be written to "Aimee's Fund" and deposited at any United Community Bank. Find a convenient branch or mail a check to “Aimee’s Fund,” c/o United Community Bank, 119 Maple St., Carrollton, GA 30117. Or visit aimeecopeland.com to donate via Paypal. This site was set up by the Psychology Department at West Georgia College where Aimee is a student seeking her Master's degree in Psychology.
