Dale Cardwell

Dale Cardwell is a six-time Emmy award winning investigative consumer reporter based in Atlanta.  Dale has spent thirty years exposing business scams, political corruption and teaching viewers to become their own consumer advocate.

Dale began his television career in Hopkinsville, Kentucky and went on to serve viewers in five states.  In 1995, Dale joined with WSB consumer expert Clark Howard to form the nation’s number one consumer reporting team.  Clark and Dale won numerous awards for their business reporting, and under Clark’s tutelage, Dale became an expert at recognizing financial scams and determining the components that separate sound financial investments from those that are “too good to be true.”

Dale left WSB in late 2007 to run for the United States Senate.  He garnered nearly 25 percent of the North Georgia vote without airing a single pac-sponsored commercial.  (Dale refused all PAC and lobbyist contributions). 

Today Dale manages his multi-media company, TrustDale.com   His website garners 90,000 page views per month, his television show TrustDale TV attracts an audience of 60 to 80 thousand viewers per episode, and TrustDale Radio is heard by more than 50-thousand listeners - Saturdays on WSB.   Peerless companies partner with Dale to achieve certification and earn a “tie-breaker” in the eyes and ears of millions of consumers.  In addition to web and broadcast, Dale travels around the nation advising companies and clients on financial and consumer protection matters.  Dale and his wife of 26 years Angie, a hospice nurse, make their home along with their two children in DeKalb County, Georgia.
