Marietta Police say they’ve put a suspected child molester behind bars. But they’re worried they haven’t yet found all the girls they believe he victimized.

27-year old Josue Aleiandrio Gomez-Perez is already accused of molesting two girls in a series of separate incidents last year. One of them was a six-year old girl. The other was 13, according to Marietta Police Officer Dave Baldwin.

Both victims are from Marietta, police said.

Originally, Gomez was arrested in the case of the six year old, according to Baldwin. After his arrest, detectives found evidence that he met the 13-year old victim on Facebook and enticed her to skip school on at least two occasions, picking her up at Marietta Middle School.

“During some of those times, he sexually molested her and also tried to get her to run away to Mexico with him,” Baldwin said.

Police have evidence there may be more victims, said Baldwin.

“It’s possible that if he has solicited other teenage girls they may live in other jurisdictions,” he said. “He may be using an alternate name, but it’s his face that we want to get out. If someone recognizes him, we want to get started on that investigation right away.”

Arrested May 30, Gomez is now being held without bond in the Cobb County Adult Detention Center. If you have information on Gomez, contact detectives at 770-794-5363.
