Bartow County authorities have arrested four people for selling drugs and operating an illegal gambling operation out of a video game room.
Captain Mark Mayton with the Bartow-Cartersville Drug Task Force tells WSB four people were arrested following a three-month-long investigation involving the Golden Eight Ball on Highway 20.
"Ended up seizing a significant amount, trafficking amount of methamphetamine, large amount of U.S. currency, and several vehicles," said Mayton.
Mayton says this isn't the first time they've made arrests involving the business.
Several months ago, they made several arrests on similar charges at the club which was located somewhere else at the time.
"It was actually a game room like a video gambling area. What they were doing, they were paying patrons who were winning in cash instead of cash or food, which is illegal.
So far, Edward Cameron III, 40, of Calhoun, Angela Ross, 41, of Cartersville, Tracy Cameron, 31, of Calhoun, and Donald Williams, 59 of Cartersville, were all arrested on charges ranging from drug possession to drug trafficking.
"It's gonna have far reaching effects on our area," said Mayton.
