FBI looking for Family Dollar robbery suspect.

The FBI and several other local law enforcement officers are looking for a man suspected in two dozen robberies of Family Dollar and Dollar General stores in metro Atlanta.

The FBI's Steve Emmett tells WSB since February, 23-year-old Artavius Brown, of  Atlanta, has hit stores.  His latest crime though, was the PNC Bank in Tucker.

"We do believe that Mr. Brown is still in the area and we have some indication that individuals that certainly know him, know where he's at," said Emmett.

Emmett says they're hoping a $7,000 reward being offered by Crime Stoppers as well as very good pictures from surveillance video will lead to an arrest.  And they want to stop him before someone gets arrested.

"He's gonna continue and now that he certainly knows that he's being pursued by law enforcement and now by the FBI, we'll see what he does, how he responds.  We hope he turns himself in but 24 robberies plus the bank robbery, that's a lot," said Emmett.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Crime Stoppers Atlanta at 404-577-TIPS, online at www.crimestoppersatlanta.org, or by texting CSA and the tip to CRIMES (27637).
