This is no carnival fun ride. Atlanta's Skyview ferris wheel is 200 feet tall and is located at the southern end of Centennial Olympic Park downtown.
The owners of the wheel plan to open this summer and need 50 people to operate the wheel, load it and unload it, sell cokes and tickets and maintain the wheel and clean it.
The jobs pay between 9 and 13 dollars an hour and job interviews began today.
The ferris wheel was previously on Pensacola Beach, no taxpayer money was used to relocate to Atlanta or to operate the wheel.
