A Clayton County mom says her son was hurt so badly after being bullied at school that he struggles to walk and talk.
Charleia Price tells Channel 2 Action News her 13-year-old son Israel was attacked in a bathroom at Riverdale Middle School by two seventh graders. He suffered a concussion and now has to have speech, physical, and occupational therapy five days a week.
"It's unimaginable. It's uncalled for. Like I said, we just have to hold people more accountable," said Price.
The family's attorney, Gerald Griggs, says although one of the boys was expelled for two years and the second withdrew from school, this could've been prevented.
"They dropped the ball because Israel reported this three times before the incident that occurred in the bathroom," said Griggs.
The school district said they don't comment on disciplinary matters.
