This week's Ivan Johnson update isn't much different from last week's. He still hasn't garnered a lot of interest and apparently he is growing tired of waiting. CSNNW.com reports that Johnson has given NBA teams a two-week deadline to issue him a reasonable offer before he will accept one of the overseas offers that he has.
A source close to the power forward informed CSNNW.com that Johnson is issuing NBA teams a two-week deadline to come up with a reasonable offer. If no NBA offer presents itself, Johnson will bite on one of his several overseas offers.
The source who spoke on the condition of anonymity due to the sensitive nature of these talks says, "Johnson will be fine either way, as long as he is playing the game of basketball."
The report also indicates that Johnson has an offer from the New York Knicks for the league minimum. It also states that Johnson has had dialogue with several teams but they haven't led to any other offers.
