Spring is just around the corner, and that can only mean one thing in Atlanta: the Atlanta Dogwood Festival is back! An Atlanta staple for more than 75 years, the festival offers something for everyone. Virtually every kind of art imaginable is represented at the festival, with a nationally renowned juried Artist Market that includes sculpture, paintings, pottery, jewelry, photography and much more. In addition to the fine art for adults and art collectors, there is a Kid's Village featuring huge inflatables, arts and crafts, and face painting for all ages, as well as the ever-popular 24-foot rock-climbing wall. And as always, two live music stages feature performers from a variety of musical genres. Festival attendees can also enjoy the popular Disc Dog competition, street performances, the International Village, and the Friends of Dogwood Pavilion for foodies (ticketed event). The festival includes a free performance by Grammy Award-winning artist Roberta Flack Saturday at 7:30 p.m.
