Free American Heart Association Family & Friends CPR course in Whiesburg (American Heart Month).
Newnan CPR wants to help all of us improve our "Heart Health", and in February (American Heart Month), we'll provide Free CPR training (non-certification), and also provide tips for healthy eating, heart-healthy exercise, quitting smoking, reducing our heart attack risks, etc.
Cardiovascular disease is the #1 killer of U.S. men and women. Also, 92% of cardiac arrest victims die, most of them needlessly and prematureley. If Seattle can have 56% cardiac arrest survival rate, why can't the Atlanta area? The two best ways to improve our cardiac arrest survival rate is more people trained and willing to perform bystander CPR, and more public availability of AEDs (Automated External Defibrillators). This is non-certification training.
Please take the time in February to learn to save a friend or family members life by learning the life-saving skills of CPR. Newnan CPR will offer 10 teachings of "Free CPR for the Community" this February (non-certification training), all over the Atlanta area, in Senoia, Fayetteville, Whitesburg, Newnan, Fairburn, Union City, and Grantville. This is non-certification training, but teaches adult Hands-Only CPR, child & infant CPR with breaths, relief from choking and use of an AED for all ages. The specific class is American Heart Association Family & Friends CPR course. Although non-certification-level, it will provide all the skills needed to save a loved one's life that suffers cardiac arrest. We'll also give written tips to reduce your risks for heart disease.
