This event – keynoted by Senator Johnny Isakson and other prominent figures in government and global health – is an important follow-up and expansion of the discussions held in May of 2012 at the Atlanta Summit on Global Health and Water. It will be focused on the critical connecting points between food security and achieving sustainable health and nutrition outcomes in some of the world’s most challenging places. This conference will look at how the United States, even in the midst of fiscal austerity and political division, can best sustain its leadership in improving the world's health.
