Whetherman is the folk project of Independent 28 year-old singer/songwriter Nicholas Williams, a Midwest native who now resides in the Southeast. Channeling the best of artists like Paul Simon, Jackson Browne and Neil Young, this emerging songwriter is making his presence known through tireless performance schedules and continuous releases of comfort tales. Whetherman's music attracts folks ranging anywhere from teens to toddlers to senior citizens, and is being received abroad as far as Malaysia and especially in Europe. The songs are warm and gentle, providing an internal landscape with insightful lyrics and beautiful texture.
Atlanta-born Noah Pine lives, breathes, creates, and performs music. His sounds are old school, but very rich and urban, and have been described as “Michael Franks-meets-Beck” to Elton John, Joe Cocker, Van Morrison, Tom Waits, and Randy Newman. Music is Noah's journey and will always be the engine of his life's vibrations – and sometimes life is straight-ahead, soulful, funky, and, frankly, pretty eclectic. $7 Adv • $10 Door
