The Chief Curator and Director of Collection and Exhibitions of the High Museum, David Brenneman, will give an introduction about the Frida Kahlo and Diego Rivera exhibition, which is currently on display. It will also discuss individual Rivera and Kahlo works of art that are in the exhibition along with some background information about the artists, their lives, and the social, historical, and political context in which they worked and their connections with France and Germany. 5:30 pm: The High Museum will provide a guided tour of the exhibit for 1/2 price. 7:00 pm: Lecture at Alliance Française/Goethe-Zentrum Lecture Fee: AF, GCC & High Museum members: free | Non-members: $10
