Molly Stevens and Whitney Layne formed a dynamic duo after meeting in Nashville Tennessee in 2010. Layne, originally from the outskirts of Salt Lake City, Utah moved to Nashville in 2007 with the high hopes of breaking into the music scene. Growing up singing with her twin sisters in Utah provided Layne with an early love for music. Layne was a Western Regional Finalist for the Colgate Country Showdown in 2006. In 2007 Layne was awarded the title of Star of the West, representing the West in singing and songwriting. After a very successful solo career for three years and the release of her album “This is my Song”, Layne decided to take a chance and join forces with Stevens.
