The Baltimore Waltz @ The Fern Theatre, 7 Stages Back Stage The Baltimore Waltz is a giddy, fleet fantasy comedy based on the love and adventures of a brother and sister, one of whom has a fatal disease.  Diagnosed with terminal ATD (Acquired Toilet Disease) an elementary school teacher from Baltimore and her brother embark on a whirlwind trip through France, Holland and Germany. While they look for a cure to the deadly disease, they find love and other madcap adventures along the way.  Paula Vogel wrote Baltimore Waltz in response to her own brother's death from AIDS related complications and is a poignant reminder of how fragile life can be.   The Baltimore Waltz ?deals with mature situations and is not suitable for children under the age of 17.
