West African Dance (5-8)

Students will learn traditional West African Dance movements to live African drum rhythms from Senegal, Mali, and Guinea. The class begins with a 1/2 hour warm-up, and progresses to energetic dancing. Emphasis will be on coordination and the history the movements and the rhythms learned.
