Ed Baker will deliver an engaging talk on the changing marketplace in Atlanta and in the world.Ed Baker has been Publisher of Atlanta Business Chronicle for over 25 years, one of the country's largest business journals with over 200,000 readers each week. Prior to joining the Chronicle, Ed was a senior executive in the advertising agency business, having worked on the launch of cellular for BellSouth, The Weather Channel, and Kawasaki Jet Ski at J. Walter Thompson and D'Arcy-MacManus Masius (D-MM). He grew up in Atlanta and is very active in the community. He serves on the boards of the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce, the Atlanta Convention and Visitors Bureau, the Atlanta Business League, Leadership Atlanta, Junior Achievement of Georgia, Public Broadcasting Atlanta and Georgia State University's Robinson College of Business. A graduate of Georgia State University, Ed remains happily married to his high school sweetheart-- for 37 years. They have one married son who works in advertising in Atlanta.This lecture, sponsored by the Turkish American Chamber of Commerce of the Southeast (TACC), is open to the public and will be held at Istanbul Center's Midtown Headquarters at Two Midtown Plaza, Suite 1010, at the corner of West Peachtree and 17th Street.
