MLK Day of Service: SafeHouse Outreach
Join the Office of Civic Engagement in honoring Dr. King's legacy through a day of service. This project will take place at SafeHouse Outreach on Ellis Street.Students will assist with a day of free services to a low income community in Atlanta. Safe House will provide health screenings, food, haircuts, entertainment, games, and more. Students will be assigned duties based on the needs of the event coordinator.We will be meeting at Unity Plaza at 10:30 a.m. and the project will begin around 11:00 at SafeHouse.
