Armed with the only genuine, 1,000-degree coal-burning oven in Georgia, Max's invites you in on the secrets to creating the perfect pie. Max’s will host two-hour interactive pizza-making classes from 8:30 p.m to 10:30 p.m. on February 4, February 11, March 4, March 25 and April 22. Talented "Pizzaiolos" (pronounced peetza-yolos), including Chef Matt McCormick, will be your instructors for these fun date nights, and guide you through an entertaining and educational culinary journey over wine and appetizers, including hands-on action making your own dough balls, throwing the dough, building your toppings, feeding it to the oven and then eating your pizza. The cost is $30 per person, which includes the meal and two drinks for the night. To purchase a gift certificate and make a reservation, please call or email Mary Jo Schmidt at 404.974.2944 or mjs@legacyrestaurantpartners.com. Space is limited to eight guests per class on a first-come, first-serve basis and must be reserved in advance.
