Many faith communities from around the nation will be gathered to screen the film that day and share in this unique commemorative moment to reflect on the legacy of Rev. Dr. Martin Luther King. Mr. Jarecki’s most recent op-‐ed in the Washington Post entitled, “Searching for the Soul of a Nation,” will frame the post-‐screening discussion. If you are in the Atlanta metropolitan area, we invite you to join us at Ebenezer. [Information below] If not we hope you will join others at a participating location. Go to the link below and register: http://org2.democracyinaction.org/o/5955/p/salsa/event/common/public/?event_KEY=50974 Lastly, we are delighted that the film will also be shared with high schools across the nation on January 18th, 2013. And as the nation’s Capitol hosts the inauguration of President Barack Obama, we are doubly blessed that the historic Shiloh Baptist Church will host a second screening, Saturday, January 19, 2013. Eugene Jarecki and many other celebrity guests will join national faith leaders in this historic event. If you are in the DC metropolitan area, we invite you to join us at Shiloh. [Information below] We know you join us in our collective efforts to inspire a national conversation on America’s failed drug war and the devastating consequences and impact it has had on the criminal justice system. We hope you will join us at Ebenezer Baptist Church or one of the participating venues on January 12, 2013; and we welcome you at the national venue of Shiloh Baptist Church on January 19, 2013 in Washington, DC.
