Minneapolis-based jazz pianist Mary Louise Knutson has been called "one of the most exciting and innovative artists to happen to jazz piano in quite some time." Her trio will include two stellar jazz musicians from the Atlanta area - bassist Tommy Sauter and drummer Justin Varnes.
A 2005 Finalist in the Kennedy Center’s Women in Jazz Pianist Competition, Knutson and her new CD, In the Bubble, recently ranked in JazzWeek's Top 10.
