The MJCCA gymnastics program focuses on building children's confidence and self-esteem by gaining flexibility, strength, balance, coordination, and body control, all within a very positive and encouraging atmosphere. THIS IS A COACH RECOMMENDED COURSE ONLY! For those that have mastered skills taught in 'Cartwheels' & 'Round-offs', now can try more advanced skills and learn what we call 'flight' elements and more strength elements. Front handsprings, back extension rolls and squat ons on bars to name a few. Please contact Kim Wood prior to registering for this course to discuss eligibility." *Open to the community Prepare for the June SATs with Applerouth Tutoring Services and get ahead of the game with a thorough review of content and strategies for the exam! The course will include 24 hours of small group instruction, 3 mock tests*, and cutting-edge educational materials. *Price includes 3 proctored, fully analyzed mock tests. Baseline mock test on Sunday, February 24 from 1pm-5pm is required unless previous official SAT scores are available. Mock tests can be rescheduled. Missy Sanchez, Certified Educational Planner (CEP), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), MEd. With over 30 years of experience in college counseling, Missy Sanchez brings a comprehensive overview to the college admissions process. For the past 25 years Missy has served as the Director of College Counseling at Woodward Academy. Missy has visited over 500 colleges in the U.S., Israel, the UK, and in China and has personally worked extensively with over 4000 students and their families on their search, careers, applications, essays, college strategy and final decision. This beginner cheerleading and tumbling class is for girls ages 8 years old and over. The class will focus on cheerleading techniques and tumbling and will introduce stunting as well. Using the gymnastics spring floor and tumble trak, this class will be a great introduction to cheerleading basics!" Join us for a Swim-a-thon! There are thousands of Americans of all ages engaged in swimming. USA Swimming offers programs for beginners, Olympians and everyone in between. Your participation in this program will help the Zaban Shark swim team achieve their fundraising goal as well as promote swimming and achieve competitive success.
