L.E.A.N. Expectations is a series of educational workshops that teach those preparing for pregnancy, expecting, and nursing mothers how to care for themselves and their babies. Dr. Sears' years of pediatric experience make each class relevant to moms in all stages of pregnancy, whether they are carrying their first baby or their fifth. This class focuses on the lifestyle, exercise and attitude choices vital for a healthy pregnancy and covers what to avoid during pregnancy and what expectant mothers should start doing to prepare their body for a healthy birth. In addition, expectant mothers will learn about the importance of attitude (good mental health) throughout the pregnancy and strategies for coping with stress. This class is designed to provide expecting and nursing mothers with an opportunity to connect and build relationships with others while learning practical ways to positively impact their health and their unborn baby, both during and after pregnancy. L.E.A.N. Expectations is taught by Certified L.E.A.N. Health Coach. Parents will receive a L.E.A.N. Expectations Book. Join anytime during a session (fee will be pro-rated).
