Prepare to be awed by Samson the live Bison with Rolling Thunder’s Chipa Wolfe. Learn basic survival skills from experts. Living from the land was a way of life for native people & early pioneers. Chipa shares the connection that the native people have to the land & animals. Earth Skills Club members demonstrate traditional skills including flint knapping, matchless fire starting, cordage making and primitive cooking. Learn how to make music with Nature Instruments from natural objects & Create Lean–tos, Forts & Spider Shelters -the perfect hideaway using branches. PLUS! Meet Primitive Skills Expert Mark Warren author of Two Winters in a Tipi: My Search for the Soul of the Forest signing his book & offering 2 workshops. Advance Registration is required by November 15 (limited spaces.) Stalking Workshop teaches how to get closer to wild animals to observe, photograph or hunt.
