Fireworks and Fun Sunday July 3 in Historic Downtown Norcross Don't miss the 21st Annual Independence Day Celebration in downtown Norcross. After a day of great food and celebration, everyone loves the breath taking Fireworks Display. This annual event has become a tradition for families and friends everywhere. Timing This years' July 3 celebration begins at 5:00pm. The streets in downtown Norcross will close to car traffic at 3:00pm. Fireworks start after dark. Come early and get a great seat. There will be food and fun activities for adults and children with booths of all kinds including some arts and crafts. Fireworks The dazzling fireworks display can be seen throughout the downtown area and in our expansive downtown parks. Bring your folding chairs, blankets and coolers to celebrate in style. Food Booths Bring your appetite for traditional Independence Day treats such as hamburgers, hot dogs, ice cream, snow cones, smoothies, popcorn and cotton candy, funnel cakes, hot roasted peanuts, and many other treats for the family.
