The UPS Store, including four franchises in Georgia, reported data breaches, and the company is offering identity protection and credit monitoring services to customers whose information may have been compromised.

The UPS Store said some customers who used a credit or debit card at the 51 impacted locations in 24 states between January and August 11, 2014, may have been exposed. The information that may have been taken includes names, postal addresses, email addresses and payment card information.

The stores include one on Riverside Parkway in Canton, on Peachtree Parkway in Peachtree City, on Braselton Highway in Dacula and on Talokas Lane in Columbus

“I understand this type of incident can be disruptive and cause frustration. I apologize for any anxiety this may have caused our customers. At The UPS Store the trust of our customers is of utmost importance,” said Tim Davis, President The UPS Store. The malware threat has been eliminated.
